Each ribbon is shipped in a self-contained cartridge that drops straight into the printer with a “click” for easy installation and changing. This cartridge also requires no calibrating, threading, wasted feeding, hassles, and the ink will always be facing in the right direction. The printer will notify the user if the installed ribbon is not recommended with the installed labels.
